Madonna and Child Jeweled Milagro Shrine

Mixed media: paper, mixed fabrics, ink, watercolor, dye, enamel paint, foil, resin, glass, copper, aluminum. One of a kind and signed by artist.

Front cover is a hand-hammered tinwork milagro-style Sacred Heart painted in bright enamels and embellished with rhinestones, set into burgundy fabric.

Inside cover features a hand-colored icon of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel mounted onto hand-dyed paper lace, foil, and tissue, all atop a dark red paper background with gold foil highlights.

Main image is a pearl- and rhinestone-encrusted Madonna and Child with tiny gold star embellishments, fabric roses, fabric braid/ricrac, and wirework trim. Back is handpainted red tissue.
