Czech glass beads in a dusky rose with a matte seaglass finish adorn a soft cotton crocheted necklace that's adjustable from choker length to 29 inches. Just attach the lobster clasp right above any of the beads crocheted into the cotton thread to get the length you'd like, or wrap it four times and attach it at the last bead for a bracelet.

Features an aluminum four way cross and a pewter St. Dymphna medal imported from Italy that I've painted in specialty enamels, fired, and then clear coated for durability.

St. Dympha is the patron saint invoked against mental illness and disturbance, anxiety, sexual assault, and epilepsy, among other things. Her reputation in folk Catholic practice has approached that of St. Jude, the famous patron saint of hopeless causes, as she is deemed to be able to intervene even in very difficult cases and work wonders for the faithful.

To find out more about her life, her fame as a saint, and devotional traditions associated with her, visit the blog and follow the tags.

The four way medal has images of Christ's Sacred Heart, the Miraculous Medal of the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and St. Christopher.

I like to do custom work, and it's a fairly simple matter to add or change medals or make a similar item with a different color scheme, so please feel free to message me if you have something in mind that you don't see. I'd be happy to discuss your ideas and/or put up a custom listing for you.

All spiritual and devotional pieces are made with care and intent with respect to traditional origins, lore, and practices, all of which I'm happy to answer questions about. If you have questions about customization or anything else, feel free to message me. I love to customize or custom-finish the altar pieces that have found new homes when I take them down from my altars they're residing on and package them up with prayers and blessings to send to you.

LEGALESE: As required by law, all items are sold as curios to preserve and teach the traditions of folklore and popular religion. I don't sell anything I don't use myself, though, and quite a few customers over the years have sworn by my traditional formulas since I started selling them in 2002.
