This is a biblical anointing oil, containing rare and fragrant henna blossom essential oil among other appropriate oils and herbs, such as pomegranate and spikenard. This is one of the most intoxicating fragrances I've created yet, containing rare and precious herbs used in perfumery for thousands of years.
The Song of Solomon, or Song of Songs, has been variously interpreted by scholars, exegetes, and the faithful over the centuries.
Some interpret it just as it appears to be - as a passionate love story.
Some teach that it is a story of the passionate love of the Lord for his spouse, Israel. Similarly, some Christian exegetes teach that the Song is a story of the passionate love of the Christ for his spouse, the Church.
Still others say that the Song is a story of the union of the masculine and feminine aspects of the soul or psyche in the human being, and some alchemists believe the Song to be a reference to the Chymical Wedding - the marriage of spirit and soul, sun and moon, sulfur and quicksilver, king and queen.
Use for altar work relating to marriage, betrothal, and passionate relationships, as part of esoteric alchemical workings of personal transformation, and as a reminder of the union of the soul with the Spirit. Some folks use this as an anointing oil when they perform weddings and handfastings, or in spellwork related to their marriages or relationships; be advised that, used this way, this is a much more "passionate" and frankly sexual blend than is Ketubah oil.
While this oil is made with biblical/esoteric correspondences rather than traditional conjure ones, it won't clash or conflict with them and it can certainly be used alongside hoodoo formulas if you want to do that.
I pray over every bottle as I decant your oil from the mother bottle and add herbs, woods, and precious resins, and you should feel free to include the name of the person this oil will be for, if applicable, and your petition or prayer, if applicable, as customization info when you check out. That way I can bless and consecrate it specifically for you and your needs. (But if you want to leave it kind of open-ended, that is fine, too - it's your call and blessings do not have to be ultra specific!)
As an autocephalous bishop in the independent sacramental movement, I am legitimately empowered to fulfill ecclesiastical roles requiring ordination or consecration, including exorcism and the administration of sacraments (though I cannot guarantee that your local parish priest would recognize my consecrations as valid!). I am not bound to a particular denomination or dogma and I do not hold that you must believe things according to precisely this or that catechism in order to receive this type of blessing or invoke this type of energy. Unlike with conjure oils, few of the ingredients in my esoteric series are native to the region I grew up in, or indeed to this continent, and they must be imported. In some cases, the prices have skyrocketed over the last 10 years as essential oils have exploded in popularity, species have become threatened by overharvesting, and climate change has affected production.
So please understand that I cannot keep large quantities of some of these essential oils and absolutes on hand because they are incredibly expensive. That's why the handling time for this series starts at 10 business days. On the off chance that I get a few orders in back to back that exhaust my supplies of galbanum or sandalwood or whatever, I might be waiting on a new shipment from my supplier when your order comes in, for example. 10 business days should cover anything like that, but if it looks like there's a significant delay beyond the published 10 business day handling time, I'll email you.
