Compelling formulas are valuable when you need someone to make good on a promise or something they owe you by rights and that you have just cause to claim as your due. Folks often use this to do things like get wages that are owed by employers, child support from non-custodial parents, repayment of overdue debts, or the return of other borrowed things.
