Chaplet of St. Michael and the 9 Choirs of Angels - Rosary of the Archangels
Also known as the Rosary of the Angels and the Angelic Crown, this chaplet is a lovely angelic devotion that has its own special set of beads differing from the traditional Marian rosary.
Nine sets of three small beads are separated by larger beads, or Pater beads. At the start of each section, you salute one of the nine choirs (aka orders or categories) of angels, so there's a prayer segment for the Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels. (Prayers/instructions for this chaplet are widely available online, but I can send along a hard copy of the prayers if you need one - just ask when checking out.)
The center, cross medal, and St. Michael medal are cast bronze reproductions of antique originals, made by a talented artisan in the United States.
Beads are lustrous faceted Czech glass in nine different jewel tones, one for each choir of angels.
Chaplet is entirely handmade and measures 17 inches from end to end. Decade loop is just over 22 inches around. Pendant section hangs 5 inches below rosary center.
This handmade piece has been consecrated on my altars, and I pray these while I make them, which probably slows me down a bit, but I like the end result. I'm happy to bless it for your specific petition before I send it off - just let me know when checking out.
