St. Francis Beaded Knotwork Bracelet
Vibrant glass beads in a range of jewel tones pop against natural, undyed waxed Irish linen. Bracelet is hand-knotted and finished with a sliding knot "clasp" so it's adjustable to fit nearly any wrist between 6 1/2 and 8 /2 inches.
Features a tiny full-color medal of St. Francis of Assisi and a tiny gold-toned cross charm, both lightweight and subtle for those who want to honor or invoke the saints but don't want their jewelry to *look* all heavy and religious...
...which, admittedly, much of my jewelry has tended to do. I've been accused of having a baroque touch that's about as subtle as a car wreck when it comes to jewelry. My rosaries occasionally look architectural rather than wearable, and if you took your cue from my designs from 2002-2012, you'd think no saint ever had a sense of humor or failed to take herself Terribly Seriously.
Obviously this isn't so, and for very approachable and human saints (e.g. St. Francis, St. Anthony, St. Therese, Padre Pio), I think this style of jewelry sometimes honestly better suits them. So if you're wondering what's up with my design aesthetic changing so drastically, this is me just trying to provide some cool additional options since not all folks like to wear a reliquary with their spiritual jewelry. (Also, I think these are really fun. Yes, I said it.)
I like to do custom work, and it's a fairly simple matter to add or change medals or make a similar item with a different color scheme. So just message me if you have something in mind that you don't see.
